World of Sport - Balls of ire

Not many of the countless millions who watched the US Masters from Augusta, can have failed to hear the constant yelling of one very annoying American who screamed ‘GET IN THE HOLE’ at every possible opportunity.

While the initial thought was that he was auditioning for the title of ‘America’s Dumbest Golf Fan’ it turns out that the man responsible for irritating much of the planet was in fact Dr Chad Spellman, developer of the listening gold ball.

The ball, which will be in golf stores from Tuesday, retails at $250 but is apparently worth every cent, unless of course you are Kenny Perry in which case no amount of technical wizardy is going to help when you choke at the big moment..
