What is GPD?

First and foremost, Grand Prix Diary is not to be taken seriously, we may make the odd sensible point but it will be rare. We don’t do race reports or technical analysis – a million other sites do that for you, so instead we’ll bring you the odder, more bizarre stories and when there is nothing interesting happening we’ll just make something up.

We have new columns for you, ‘World of Sport’ (in case you fancy a break from the four wheeled variety) and ‘Letter from America’, written by that rare thing, an actual American F1 fan. Our man will be keeping an eye on the new US GP team and reporting from across the pond on anything silly Juan Pablo Montoya says or does. He should be kept busy.

Then there is Global News Diary, weird news stories from around the world, a taster of our new GlobalNewsDiary.com website to be launched in the summer.

Finally, for the legal types, many of our pictures are submitted by our readers so if we have one of yours that you wish to have removed then please let us know and this will be done immediately.
