If you have a penchant for office furniture, printers, shelving and more than a few sets of spanners, then get yourself over to the online auctioneer who is flogging off the ‘assets’ of the USF1 team.
Apart from what appears to… be enough stock to fill a mid-sized IKEA store, you could go for Lot 27, a Weber barbeque (left), Lot 400, a Dyson vacuum cleaner or maybe Lot 426, a bottle of champagne – all seemingly unused.
However, it is Lot 497, Argentine racer, Jose Maria Lopez, that has caught the eye of many, with the ex-GP2 pedaller listed in the catalogue as being ‘in good condition’ and ‘ready to race in any national one-make saloon series’.
Lopez, who parted with $1 million for the pleasure of becoming a non-F1 driver, has a reserve price of just $500 though if he fails to reach this figure the auctioneers are prepared to throw in the Dyson as a sweetener.

Yours for just $500. Jose Maria Lopez (right)
