Sir Jackie Stewart, he of the terrible trousers and opinion provider on absolutely everything, is actually a rare thing, a Scot with a sense of humour.
According to ‘The Independent’ newspaper, Jackie has released a song, composed and sung by… his son Paul, with some help from a bloke called Eric Clapton, to celebrate his recent birthday.
The name of the record label created by Stewart to market the song is Halfwit Records.
Wonder if Max Mosley will buy a copy?
Last year, courtesy of Max Mosley and his five feisty lady friends, we had S & M in Formula 1, now, thanks to McLaren and Lewis Hamilton, we have M & S, with the launch of the ‘Living the Dream’ clothing range… for boys.

Red Bull boss, Christian Horner, has revealed that he has two West Highland terriers, one called Bernie and the other Flav. We assume if Christian had a Whippet he’d have to call it Max.

Monaco, Friday. The future of Formula 1 will be decided at 2pm this afternoon, on a great big boat, parked up in the Monaco harbour, as the teams meet to discuss their alternative to Max Mosleys budget cap plans.
Normally, the traditional… day off in Monaco is for team bosses and personnel to drift from party to party (sorry, from sponsor event to sponsor event) not to sit in a hot cabin arguing about money.
Still, as the meeting is to be held on Flavio Briatore’s mega-yacht, Force Blue, it does give us a valid reason to use this picture again.
