Vettel faces legal action over ‘Randy Mandy’ moniker
Red Bull star, Sebastian Vettel, is set to face legal action from an angry Swindon woman, after he named his new race car, ‘Randy Mandy’.
Sebastian has a habit of giving his cars girls names and he has already had ‘Kate’… ‘Kate’s Dirty Sister’ and more recently ‘Luscious Liz’ who is now being dumped on the grounds that she is not as luscious as she first appeared.
Secretary, Mandy Gale, 28, was enraged when she heard what Vettel was calling his new chassis, due to make its debut this weekend in Turkey, claiming people could easily confuse her with the car.
There is a recent precedent for such a legal action after dotty Parisien, Zoe Renault, engaged lawyers to try and stop the French car company of the same name calling its new model ‘Zoe’.
Mandy has applied for legal aid and says she’ll see the German in court unless he changes the name.
