June 8th, Rome, Italy. Libyan leader, Colonel Gaddafi, has requested a meeting with 700 Italian women during his visit to Rome next week. Gadaffi will pitch his tent in the grounds of a villa overlooking the city, where he will hold talks with ‘women from Italian political, business and cultural life’.
That’s got to be one big tent.
The meeting will be attended by the Minister for Equal Opportunities, Mara Carfagna, pictured left during a particularly warm cabinet meeting. We think his motive for the meeting is possibly becoming a bit clearer.
Whatever, the Colonel really does not need to bother with this “wanting to meet representatives of Italian women,to help cooperation on the economy and illegal immigration” nonsense.
If he wants to meet some Italian girls all he has to do is nip round to Silvio Berlusconi’s house – there are always plenty of spare ones hanging around there…
