Following his exciting drive in the inaugural Korean Grand Prix, the organisers have decided to name one of the corners, where Adrian Sutil drove off the track, after him. However, they cannot agree which one to choose…

Following the mistake at the German Grand Prix, which saw Force India fit the wrong tyres to Vitantonio Liuzzi’s and Adrian Sutil’s cars, the team were in trouble again on Friday when they bolted the wrong set on to Paul… di Resta’s VJM03.
Watching events in Hungary unfolding on the television at home in Dewsbury, tyre fitter, Wayne Bunion decided to contact Force India to offer his services for the remainder of the season.
Said Wayne this morning; “People think fitting tyres is easy and that putting the right ones on the right car should be common sense but let me tell you it is not” He went on, “I once put a set of 205/65 R15’s on a Mini Metro when they should have been 205/60 R15’s so I know only too well the pressure these guys feel in the pitlane”
Bunion has written to Force India and says he is ready to step in from Spa onwards if he can get the time off work.

Force India are set to take the Lotus F1 team to court over a dispute over car design. It is alleged that when Lotus staff visited the Aerolab Facility, they found a wind tunnel model of a Force India car… and thought it might, if it was a bit bigger, make a decent car for the 2010 season.
‘WindTunnelModelGate’ is set to run and run but now there are rumblings that HRT may have similar issues of their own.
Spanish farmer, Diego de Campastilla, says that he rented a barn to HRT last winter and says that having seen how the team has performed so far this year, that they must have stolen the idea from something he had been developing at the time – Picture
Diego plans to have the HRT cars impounded when they arrive in Valencia for the European Grand Prix at the end of the month.

Air Asia and Lotus boss, Tony Fernandes and his driver Heikki Kovalainen, were left stranded after todays FIA press conference when the heavens opened, bringing down yet another downpour of serious rain. Although in a rush to get back to… the team, they had not brought an umbrella and could not risk being photographed under one belonging to rival airline, Kingfisher, as kindly offered by Force India pedaller, Tonio Liuzzi.
Fernandes seems to have thought of everything in getting his team up and running but despite being a local boy and being aware it does tend to rain from time to time in these parts, umbrella’s weren’t on the shopping list.
Bet they are now…

>Update: Just half an hour after we published this story a very embarrassed Force India spokesman contacted Grand Prix Diary to assure us that the… above link was auto-generated and that no intention to be disrespectful to Ian Phillips was meant. Glad that’s all cleared up then.

Following in the footsteps of David Coulthard, who made an appearance last month, Force India boss, Dr Vijay Mallya, is to address the Oxford University Student Union on the 5th of March.
Let’s hope his chosen topic is not accountancy.

Australian Grand Prix organisers today confirmed that Simple Minds would be in attendance during the race weekend. At first it was thought they were talking about Ralf Schumacher and Jacques Villeneuve who are rumoured to be turning up but it… turns out to be the wrinkly rockers from Scotland, who will play a post-race concert.
The band have said that they will dedicate their 1982 hit ‘Promised you a Miracle’ to Campos and USF1 should either of arrive Down Under while Force India will get a rendition of ‘Alive and Kicking’ should they beat their current accountancy problem.
