Most folk watching ‘Britains got Talent’ (or not, as is often the case) on ITV on Saturday night, may not have known who Neil Horan, the ex-priest attempting an Irish jig was.
Mark Webber, enjoying his supper in front of the… box certainly would have done, as the last time the Aussie clapped eyes on Father Horan, he was approaching him at 200 mph in a Jaguar F1 car. Horan, who has made a habit of disrupting major sporting events over the years, decided to run up the Hangar Straight at Silverstone in 2003 just as the entire F1 field approached.
The Silverstone marshalls displayed their excellent rugby tackling skills and the race continued, though the ensuing chaos produced one of the most exciting Grand Prix for years.
Any chance we can book this bloke for the Hungaroring..?
