While not exactly fighting off teams keen to secure his services for 2010, Force India’s Adrian Sutil has declared he is not ready to commit to his current squad for next year. Sutil has contested more than 40 races with… the team since joining them in their glorious Spyker days.
According to Germany’s ‘Auto Motor und Sport’ Adrian has worked out why Force India are firmly rooted at the back of the grid; “”I don’t think it’s just the money, it is the whole package, perhaps we are just missing a ’superbrain’ - like what Red Bull has in Adrian Newey”.
That must make Fifi boffins, Mark Smith and James Key feel really loved.
A paddock insider told us today that the best solution would be to hire Brains from Thunderbirds himself, adding “Brains single-handedly built several rockets, a selection of ‘planes, a huge orbiting space station and Lady Penelope’s car - which could easily out-drag the VJM02 – plus he has not worked since July 1968 so he would be dead keen to get stuck in”
Brains was unavailable for comment as we went to press.
