Shaken – not bird

Monaco,Saturday. F1 drivers can be a picky bunch when it comes to a Grand Prix weekend, requesting all sorts of changes, most of them on safety grounds, most of them granted.

However, in his drive-round of the track for the BBC’s… qualifying programme, David Coulthard revealed that the main issue this weekend is that the drivers want the huge image of a Martini girl removed from the wall above turn seven.

According to DC, the pouting beauty, advertising James Bond’s favourite tipple, is ‘distracting’ the drivers .

We say leave her there. Turn seven is about the only corner on the circuit without a name. ‘The Crumpet Curve’ sounds fine to us..
